I am planing to go to ub for mechanical engineering. Will I be staying in North or South campus?

If you get your deposit in ASAP you can likely be on North Campus, where all your classes are.

My son is also a Mechanical Engineering major (and Aerospace too) and he decided to attend so late that he was put on South Campus. No problem with it though. He loved it there. Met lots of other kids and many engineering freshmen too. They moved to North for this, sophomore, year. More convenient to be on North.

Ellicott, on North campus, is the most popular with freshman.

FYI- a new Computer Science/Engineering Building is set to open on North Campus in Sept 2011.

Wass- We have been very happy with UB and the engineering program. We knew little about it, being from LI, but now that my son is there, I am finding out that so many of my peers went to UB for undergrad or grad school. Good network.

Feel free to post or PM with any specific questions you may have.
