<p>No, some private colleges don’t require teacher recommendations, but most will still require a counselor recommendation.</p>

<p>If you want to find colleges that don’t require ANY recommendations, you can start by eliminating all colleges that are members of the Common Application - they all require at least one recommendation. </p>

<p>But, I’m curious – why don’t you want to have to send teacher recommendations?</p>

<p>It’s just that I don’t have any right now. I already applied to UCs and am just seeing if I can apply elsewhere</p>
