Do all professors/sections use the same textbook? If so...

I am trying to purchase my books used online so it's much cheaper than the Stanford bookstore used books. Do you guys know what textbooks are used for:

-Math 51
-Econ 102A
-Econ 50
-Econ 102B

Thanks!

It's on the Stanford Bookstore website
http://www.bkstr.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/LocateCourseMaterialsView

All the profs/sections should use the same textbook since they should all have the same exams.

I have the Math 51 stuff if you interested.

I also have the Econ 50 book from last year; if you are doing it this quarter you can borrow it, but I will need it for the winter.

I don't think that link works, marlgirl. Go to www.stanfordbookstore.com and click on the link for textbooks. The list is not complete, though... you may have to check back later, or wait until school starts so you can get your syllabus. Another hint - http://coursework.stanford.edu You can add your classes there if they have not automatically been added for you, and you might find the syllabi there. However, again, course lists are not complete. (Coursework is used for posting class materials or doing online homework assignments.)

I was looking at the Math 51 required books. Vector Calculus is easily available, but I can't seem to find the solutions manual (at least for sale separate from the textbook) or Linear Algebra (Levandosky) anywhere. Is there anywhere you can get them outside the bookstore?

Zephyr, you would be willing to loan or sell the Math 51 books? PM me what you have in mind. About the Econ 50 - not taking it until winter, so no luck there.

I have Levandosky for sale =p PM me if interested. I'll be back on campus Sept. 21.
