Do alumni interviews see your application before the interview?

It seems that they do based on the descriptions of interviews I've read, but I'm not sure.

I am fairly certain that my interviewer had not read my application as she spent the first 3-5 minutes glancing over a resume I had made for her. That and she asked for my SAT scores, which for whatever reason were necessary in the recommendation she turned in to the admissions committee.

No, alumni do not have access to the application. that is why they ask for a resume, etc.

Wait, they ask for a resume?

In the alumni interview report, there is a place to report standardized test scores. Harvard likes to get this information from the alumni as a way of double checking scores (or if a score report is late in arriving, etc).

There’s no similar space on the report for resume information, but many alums find a resume helpful in guiding the interview + discussion.
