Hi everyone!

As my junior year comes to a close, I'm beginning to formulate my college list. However, in order to do that I have to have some idea of what I want to do. I can honestly say that my hobbies/interests rely in the technology/business areas; thus, I have been looking at colleges that offer combined computer science/business degrees (I could see working for an Apple or Silicon Valley company in the future).

So far, I have found a few:

1) Lehigh University - CSE: B.S. in Computer Science & Business

B.S. in Computer Science and Business

The CSB Program is offered jointly by the College of Business and Economics (CBE) and the department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Unlike other programs where students have a dominant college, the CSB program is so balanced that the students are simultaneously in both the College of Business and Economics and the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science (RCEAS). The CSB program integrates computing technologies and business topics at an unprecedented level, providing the skills and training needed to understand business functions and business related problems, to analyze business-user information needs, to design computer based information systems, and to implement systems solutions within business organizations. Graduates of the program are ideal candidates for placement within large consulting firms, small consulting teams, and startup companies. This program will also lay the foundation for students who will eventually become the CIO's, decision makers, and general managers of information age corporations. But it is not just a preparation for a career in business computing, it is a full fledged technological CS degree. It also prepares students to enter graduate school in CS or to begin pure CS careers such as software development, but providing them with a business background that gives them a significant edge. This degree is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012, telephone (410) 347-7700.

and 2) Department Of Computer Science - USC

BS in Computer Science and Business Administration (CSBA) (New Major)

The combined Bachelor of Science degree program in Computer Science/ Business Administration offers qualified students the opportunity to gain an educational foundation in both areas. Students must meet the admission requirements for both the Computer Science department in the Viterbi School of Engineering and the Marshall School of Business. The degree is administered by the Computer Science department.

Can anyone find any others? I've been looking into Management Information Systems as a nice combination of the two studies, but it seems like the comp sci used in that major is more at a business end and that does not appeal to me as much (i.e. using finance programs would not be what I would want).

Thanks!
