Do any of these schools have same essays year after year?

Also, do the common app essays change? Seeing if I can get a leg up on the essays for this fall...

University of Pennsylvania – Wharton
Princeton University
Stanford University
Duke University
Cornell University
NYU – Stern
Pomona College
Northwestern University
University of Chicago
UC Schools
Carnegie Mellon University
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
USC
University of Wisconsin – Madison

I do know that this year's Common Application had the same essays as the previous year's. I remember they announced that the essays would not change, so it is possible they will change this year. Especially since they will need to make adjustments for new SAT score reporting.

As to the schools on your list, I suggest emailing them and asking this question. If nothing else, it will help establish communication (demonstrated interest).

University of Chicago may change from year to year. They are known for having very...unusual...essays.

The UC essays do not change from year to year and I suspect the same would be true for UWisc. Madison and U of Michigan.

upenn always has the "write page 196 of ur biography" or watever. they change the page number tho =P

princeton's varies slightly, but for the most part are very similar
