The electronics in newer German cars are terrible. I believe my friend has an M-Series (about 3 years old), that thing is in the shop once a month for electrical problems. Decline in MB quality is a big reason DaimlerChrysler's CEO got kicked out.

However, MB is still much better than Volkswagon and Porsche. VW and Porsche are at the bottom of the quality spectrum, far below all of the American automakers (Again, largely due to electronics problems).

BMW is now one of the best in quality, they've largely been able to solve all of their electrical issues.

damn look at all these foos talking about s-class and 5 series....crazy
where do you all get the cash from?

from parents and from working.

I don't work. From the parents who work.

Haha do you any of your cars have quirky things? Like the light behind my heat control panel won't come on until it gets below 17 degrees, and there's a rattle inside my door that sounds like a tambourine and only rattles at 3000-3200 RPM. :D

I have not even bothered to take the preliminary licensing test for my driver's license- I am too lazy to do so.
Even if I did bother, I would end up with a standard-issue Toyota Corolla.
There are no quirks on the car-it was bought six years ago in its most stripped condition.

I paid for it myself.
