Just wondering.:)

I used to (when I actually was in high school) for two years, but then left and went to a private religious school, then left that and went to your typical suburban school.

i do!
i had the chance to go to another school my freshman year, but i wanted to stay to be with my friends.
seriously regretting that decision now, not because of my friends lol, but because the school’s atmosphere is just so…ghetto.

cannot stand it!

Not really, but the people in my school think we do.

Horribly administered high school in South LA, just a city away from Compton, 10 percent college going rate, most of freshman are failing basic classes, majority of school on free-reduced lunch, a place where poverty is relative (I’m one of the more affluent in my school, and I qualify for near full rides)

But only one student died in a gang related shooting (off campus), no metal detectors, only one sheriff stationed on campus, few good AP classes and kids are relatively friendly… so it’s not that bad…

Yes.
We have it all: drop out kids, kids in gangs, potheads, and drug sellers.

I guess we were a poor excuse for an inner city school. No shootings, no metal detectors…but kids did set fires in the closet in order to avoid tests (which, consequently, would happen every single day).
And students regularly made teachers quit.

I don’t remember ever having the same teacher for more than four months in any class.
