<p>do any of you guys know each other in real life? this forum seems so tight-knit…like you guys are all friends or something. it’s refreshing to see that on the internet every once in a while :)</p>
<p>I know quite a few of the people who post on the UA board, some whom I know personally and others whom I haven’t yet had the opportunity to meet in person. I know that many of the parents met up during Bama Bound (orientation) this past May and some will be seeing each other again during early move-in this August. When you visit campus, you might be able to meet some of us. :)</p>
<p>bassetmomma’s son and I go to school about 10 minutes away from each other and go to church together.</p>
<p>I think my cousin just graduated with krazie. LOL </p>
<p>I’ve met several people on CC at Bama Bound. All are very pleasant people. :)</p>
<p>Many of us met through this board, Siglio21. My son introduced me to CC. Not only is he on here, but his girlfriend’s roommate is, too. (and I’ve met her in person) He has classes with Sea_tide, and he knows M2CK’s sons. He’s taken some of the students and their parents on tours or had lunch with them when they have visited Alabama. All of them are quite lovely.</p>
<p>i haven’t met anyone in person, but i am email friends with a couple and have talked on the phone with a couple.</p>
<p>i will meet a couple in person on move-in weekend.</p>
<p>I have also had the pleasure of meeting some of the CC cast at Bama Bound and all I can say is they are a terrific group of dedicated individuals.</p>

<p>I met a great group at Bama Bound and it was cool to see our kids all sitting around that big table. Even if they rarely cross paths I know it will be nice for my OOS DS to see a friendly face. Much as we parents were 100% not-cool(!) to set the meeting up I know many of the kids are now FB friends etc.
Who was it that took our info and did any of you ever get the email list? I (embarassingly) can barely match the screen names with the real names/faces.
We should have an (off-site) list of real names, kid’s names etc.</p>

<p>Yes we were one of those families that met up at Bama Bound! What a great and wonderful group of people. I agree that seeing all of the kids at that table was a wonderful sight!</p>

<p>We are going to Parents Weekend and are staying in Bessemer. We are probably not coming back to campus between the 8th and Parents Weekend, so hope to see some of you on move in day!</p>
