Do any of you have experience with a Sony Vaio FE (white)?

Sorry for yet ANOTHER laptop thread, but I am desperately in need of some advice. I'm thinking of going in for the Sony Vaio FE (white). Has anyone used this, and if so, what has been your experience with it? Is it better to pay 500 extra to get the Vaio SZ (black), which is smaller and more compact? And how does Sony compare to IBM, Dell, HP, Macbook, etc, etc?

Thanks, guys!

I DO!! I JUST GOT IT YESTERDAY!!!

i think it is awesome, but i must say that i was a little surprised when i saw its size. i had assumed it was the same size as the FS series...but oh well. i think sony is BETTER than HP, Dell, and compaq. and is very comprable to ibm (tho some may argue this). i dont really know how to compare it to macs because i think it is hard to compare ANY pc to a mac.

the white FE is very aesthetically pleasing. i customized it with a 2.0 gHz intel centrino duo, 1 GB ram (their prices are rediculous), built in camera, 120 GB hard drive, and the nividia graphics card. i also got a 4 year onsite warranty that covers accidental damage. it was a pretty big bill, but my dad got it for me as a late grad. gift.

i would say go for it unless you would really rather have something that is more compact.

EDIT: BTW the screen on it is AAAMAZING. if i look at it and look at my old desktop screen, the desktop looks like it has some kind of deficiency beacuse the FE has such a bright/awesome quality screen.
