Southeastern Theatre Conference in Atlanta, March 4

Tisch has auditions for acting in Atlanta on Feb. 25 and 27, and in Miami on Feb. 28.

omg thank you so much this info just made such a big difference in my college options

SETC auditions are mainly screening auditions. I know that most of the schools who saw my son at SETC wanted him to go to their campus for follow-on auditions. At least one of them though, Illinois Wesleyan, offered to pay for him to travel there. SETC is definitely worth doing, to get on schools’ radar screens and also for the experience.

has any of you all heard of the atlanta unifed auditions

stixxx - I believe the Atlanta Unifieds are for actors seeking work in professional/regional theatre, not students looking for colleges.

As a follow up on SETC, my D did receive acceptances from colleges that saw her at SETC. For some schools it is defintely a pre-screen (which can help you narrow your list for on campus audition) but for others they do offer program acceptances and scholarships from SETC.
