Accept AP tests in place of SAT IIs?

Because I already have 3 good AP scores...its such a pain to take the subject tests :/

nope. if it requires it you need it.

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re asking, but you can send in 3 AP test scores to NYU instead of the regular SAT reasoning or SATII’s or ACT

Def not. AP scores are barely used in admissions, whereas SAT IIs are an important factor.

NYU has a new policy where to cover the standarized test portion of the application, you can submit any one of these options:

SAT Reasoning + 2 SAT II’s

ACT w/ Writing

3 SAT II’s

3 AP’s <---------- FOR YOU :D

Yeah, I heard about NYU, I think its a great idea, which is why I was wondering if any other schools were using this policy :)

no, as far as we now. And you better comply with this policy.

I’ve heard of this kid who had 2400 SAT, very high ACT, but took his SAT subjects in January 2009. Well the scores were delayed and didn’t make it to any of his colleges on time. So he had an incomplete application and was rejected everywhere.
