Do AP scores (without doing the AP courses) give an advantage for college admission?

Hey, I am an Indian in the 11th grade studying in Dubai.
I didn’t go for any AP courses but I am planning to self-study and write a couple of AP exams (Computer Science and Chemistry). Will this help in college admissions to Ivy League universities and colleges like MIT, Stanford, etc.
I have written my SAT Subject tests and I got Math - 800 Chem - 800 Physics - 800. I have to write SAT 1.
What should I do?

SAT II tests will count more towards admissions purposes than self-studied AP exams. Focus on your SAT 1, that should be your priority if applying to those colleges

To counter shawnspencer, I’d say that the SAT I is basically a test of English. In practice, I think anything above 1400 is indistinguishable to admissions. AP exams (or similar introductory-college-level studies) are necessary but not sufficient for elite college entrance. That is, everyone who applies to the Ivies have that under their belt. You sound like a self-motivated person, so if I was in your position I would focus on extra curricular activities in your area(s) of interest. Build up your intellectual strengths and be sure to highlight them in your essays.
