Yes or No?

I just passed both of my Ap's, but I am wondering wether or not it really matters in terms of admission to schools like the UC's and others......Who knows?

No personal experience here, but don't think it's a big thing for admissions. Nor do I hope it is.

Well, colleges like to see whether or not you've challenged yourself in high school. The AP exam is one way of measuring the strength of your schedule with kids around the country. While APs are certainly not a major deciding factor for admissions, they certainly are important and are considered.

For UCB and UCLA, AP courses do matter, because they show the rigorousness of your college-level high school courseload. However, AP scores don't matter as much.

I concur with flopsy...

Also...

Your AP exam scores would not really matter much -- most schools will use for either credit and/or placement. Each school has its own criteria, although many of the elite schools require a 4 or 5 on the AP exam in order to get college credit. Some colleges will not offer any course credit for certain AP exams, even if you score a 5. More important than AP exam scores would be your AP class grades, and your overall GPA.
