Well. By top schools, I don't mean the elite ivy league or top ten schools (ie MIT, Stanford, etc...), lol.

Any of the schools in the "CC Top Universities" and "CC Top Liberal Art Colleges"... is it possible?

For someone with like a GPA in the 3.5~3.8 WEIGHTED range (not in the top 10%tile... but with the most rigorous courseload) and good SATs (2100+) and a few extracurriculars, but not really standing out in any way...

well now its between nyu, carnegie mellon (got into 1, waitlist at another), and chicago if I can get off the waitlist. And guarantee transfer basically means that you are in at cornell with minimum requirements so I can safely say Cornell 2010 :).

Average students can get into top colleges. Admission into a college is not only based on your stats. If someone had stats that were not as high as another applicant, but his/her essays were awesome, then i would think that he would be admitted. From what you have said about yourself, it seems though that your stats are not just average, they are pretty good. Don't stress yourself out too much about this! :)
