What are the strictest possible requirements of provisional admission contracts from Cal? Do they ever require a 4.0 for the semester, or A's in particular classes? I have the worst case of transferitis ever and have been slacking off :/

No, that would be ridiculous.

They require a 3.0

i’ve only heard of ucla requiring a 4.0

If anyone else is wondering - I just called admissions and, after 35 minutes on hold, an admissions officer told me that they don’t have provisional admission contracts. What I’m referring to are conditions of admission, a different thing. They never require a 4.0 or A’s in particular classes, but they do require some students (not all) to maintain their cumulative GPA. And, obviously, everyone needs to keep a 3.0 and can’t make any grade lower than a C. No new info there, but I’m still a little nervous about maintaining my cumulative GPA.

Trust me, it’s a 3.0

Yea, they can’t and won’t be doing that lol.

Maintaining your GPA? I’ve seen that… but it varies.
