Do Canadians send in 2006 Tax Returns to IDOC?

I'm just about ready to pull out my hair. I've been calling universities and collegeboard and other applicants, and I'm told that "no, they just want your 2007 forms" or "we won't process your 2006 forms" (from collegeboard) but then "yes, please send in 2006 forms to IDOC" (from Yale) and "we need your 2006 until your 2007 becomes available to be able to give you your estimate. If you send it in late, you risk your aid reward" (Johns Hopkins). WHAT DO I DO? Other colleges have told me that they can't use 2006, and when I spoke with a Yale FA officer last on the phone I was told not to send in the 2006 and wait for 2007 (a friend was told that by another Johns Hopkins officer too). AAAAH?!?!!!!!

Send in your 2007 Tax Returns. Even if you don't meet the deadline, you will get financial aid. It will just be delayed.
