<p>I am planning on applying to NYU, emerson, boston u, miami u, northwestern, pitt, and flagler. Do they ask you on the application what you want to do after graduating college? For example i want to go to school for Journalism and double major with something having to do with film because after graduating i want to go to developing countries and document what actually goes on, and what the lives of the people actually are. Eventually, i want to make documentaries about what i find out. Do colleges i'm applying to care about that?</p>
<p>There’s a section on the common app that asks for future plans. Oddly enough, you can give different answers to each school. You’re free to list “undecided” as your answer to all these questions. No college expects you to have a career trajectory plotted before you’ve even graduated high school.</p>
