do college see?

okay say I have 9 units for fall so far...

and they are not every day...

by this point my schedule doesnt look good

then I add an online music class for 3 units

and I add a second 8 weeks 3 units random course that transfers

Will the college just see that nice this guy has this class, that class, with a total of 15 units....or will they see that hey this student have a whole 8 weeks of only 9 units and blah blah

As long as you FINISH the course when the semester ends you're fine. Don't sweat it, I can tell you already are. ;)

I'd guess that they just look at your units overall and not at what was for how long, etc. Keep in mind they had about 12,000 transfer applications last year.

I'm pretty sure the 8-week courses aren't even labeled as that in your transcript.

Doesn't matter how long they are. Don't worry about it.

Ok, am I the only one that had trouble following what the hell OP posted?

Who the hell is "this nice guy"? Also, you can take 9 units a day?

I'm sorry but the whole thing reads like a bad Haiku.

^ That's why I had to read it several times.

i agree with jk_

they dont see all the specifics-- just credits, grades, classes, gpa on transcripts and then app stuff.
