Do colleges accept Algebra 1A/1B

to meet their math requirements? I took both of the courses in 9th and 10th grade to improve my math skills because I sucked at math in middle school. I am currently a senior in Trig but I am very concerned that colleges won't accept Algebra 1a/1b to fulfill their requirements.

I'm not sure what the difference between 1A and 1B is...levels of algebra 1? In any case, it depends on the college - check on their websites or email them. Most of the top colleges want you to go up to a certain level in math, usually precalculus.

it's just a two semester Algebra I course. 1a is the first semester and 1b is the second semester. I've made it all the way to Trig but I am worried that they won't accept this course and reject me because of it. Can I still get in if they don't accept it?

ummm i don't think they consider it to meet the requirements. unless 1A and 1B are acceptable in place for Algebra 1?? I know many colleges i've looked at say i need 1 level of beginning algebra (algebra 1) geometry, and an advanced algebra ( algebra 2/trig) if you are up to the advanced algebra or trig as a senior, you should be fine.

Well I've taken Algebra 2 and Geometry and taking Trig in my senior year. I'm applying to George Mason.
