Do colleges actuall care about ap classes?

^ Some schools use it, others don’t, but they’re still important. Also University of New Hampshire has an acceptance rate of about 68% so I doubt that they would need to look at course rigor that much.

@csdad - As for the Ivy Leagues, AP classes are considered an extremely important part of admissions. These colleges recommend that students take the most-rigorous courseload that has been offered at their schools. This may entail 5, 10, or even 15+ AP classes (upon graduation). Ivy League school don’t just use standardized tests, but yes AP classes are not “required” for admission. However, if you don’t take any AP classes that are offered at your school. It’ll look like you didn’t want to take the challenge.

…yes I have a D in an Ivy league college & am aware of the “rigor” looked for in admissions. The OP asked about scores not classes that was what my response was directed at…AP scores are not required in admssions.
