Do colleges care about EC's when applying as a transfer student?!

How important are EC’s as a transfer student? I’ll explain my situation!
So I live on my own and work full-time to pay rent, yet I also go to school full-time. I don’t really have time for clubs and other EC’s so I’m not sure what I should do if they are considered really important. Just to add in case it’s necessary, I have a good GPA of 3.7 and I’m a philosophy major.
Also, I’m most interested in applying to UCLA, Berkeley, UofMich, UCSD, and USC
Thanks in advance!!

Working full-time is an activity. You should be fine.

Kudos to you. By supporting yourself and still managing to go to school full-time, I’d say you are beyond needing ECs on any application. Pity the foolish admissions person who doesn’t see it this way!

I assume that you are a CA resident. Otherwise you will not be able to afford the UC’s.

Make sure to put that on your application!! That’s a great plus!!
