<p>Does anyone know if colleges change what essay question they ask from year to year? Particularly I'm looking and stanford and hoping to be admitted in 2008, is it worthwhile looking at the essay questions now or should I wait until later this year?</p>

<p>There is certainly no harm in lookng at the essay question now. Now that Stanford has joined the Common Application, you can wait to see what the common app questions are starting in July. The common app also gives you the option to write an essay on the topic of your own choosing.</p>
<p>i think the common app main essays dont change so yes, you can start planning...even if they do change it they ll always keep the "topic of your own choice" option.
PS:make sure you are DONE with all essays around Mid Nov. dont procrastinate! good luck!</p>
<p>even if they do change they will stay pretty similar. so you can start thinking about them, but you might not want to actually start writing them yet.</p>
