Do colleges check your work experience? If yes, then how?

Hi there, just confusing about it. This question important for me, because I am an international. So, I've been worked in 2 places, most of them on full-time. It was 3 summer internship in one company(full-time and payable) and another work on full-time position( again payable in government structure. Both my employers will write recommendation letters and create accounts in commonapp with full contact information. The main problem is, that not all colleges offer "Other recommenders" section in their application, how colleges will check it? I can understand if you US citizen, but what about international? Do I need to send them my bank account information or accounting info from companies?

Thanks in advance !!!

College’s trust applicants (both domestic and international ones) to tell them the truth. My guess is that 99.9% of the time a college will not bother to verify any full-time or par time job that you list on your application.

All recommenders include their contact information with their letters. If a college had questions, they would reach out directly to the recommender by phone or email, whether domestic or international.
As a side note, for most colleges, two letters from “other recommenders” would be too much, and you should chose just one.
