I think I ran across something about this in another thread but can't turn it up now -- do colleges ever combine different tests in order to give credit for the highest scores on each? My daughter got a 30 composite on both the October and November tests and she's a senior, so there's not really any time to take the test again. Her individual scores were:

October
Eng 35
Math 26
Read 29
Sci 28

November
Eng 34
Math 26
Read 33
Sci 28

October works out to a 29.50 average rounded to a 30; November is a 30.25, no rounding. Her goal was to improve by 4 points minimum overall since a couple of schools she's looking at require a 31 for scholarships that she's otherwise qualified for. She got the 4 points on reading, but the loss of a point on English really hurt. If any schools will take the highest on all tests and combine them, she'd squeak out that 31 by a hair -- her average would be 30.50 if she could count the October English! Is this ever done, or is it something she could at least talk with the admissions/financial aid officers about to see if they'd consider doing it? She's miserable right now about dropping that point in English and I'm hoping there's some way she could feel a little better about this. Thanks in advance for any help!
