i dont think sending in the scores would help very much...adcoms are usually crunched for time and ignore alot of the extra matierials you put in...besides...even if the adcom looked at your scores...they wouldnt have any baseline for them to compare it to...because they havent recieved/catoulogued the other candidates scores...which means that the adcoms have no idea where your scores sit in relation to other students...

In some of my apps I know they did consider my one AP score considering the outlying circumstances around it, so yes at times they def look into it, but often or not there needs to be some connecting story out just a lot of 4's and 5's (if you have taken like 10-15 AP's or more)

Actually, AP Classes and AP Exam Scores are the most important thing on your application, according to many admissions officers. It is very important to them because an AP Exam score lets them know that you can/can not perform at the college level. If you have a B average, but 5's on all your AP Exams, then the B Average Wont matter as much. On the other hand, having an A average with 2's and 3's on your AP Exams will negatively affect your chances.

Tdaws,
But AP Scores are not automatically sent to colleges, so how do they take it in to account if they do not have them? Assume that they are bad?

I thought APs had no affect on admissions, only that you can possibly get credit for them in college. My school only offers one AP class, and when I asked the guidance counseler she said that it was because we were a small school or something like that but it didn't affect admissions.

Well if your school doesnt offer that many AP's, then they cant use it to judgeyou, except for the ones that you have taken. I suppose i should have said that AP's are the most important factor in admissions for kids in schools that offer them, and take them. If your school doesnt offer AP's, then they cant use it to judge you. But if it even offers just one, your Grade in the Class and On the Exam is of great importance.
