<p>Just colleges in general. I’m both, but I associate myself more as black. I was just wondering cause I hadn’t seen anything that said they give any preference.</p>
<p>I doubt they do…I mean, I think we are counted as URMs, and more specifically in the black category, but I see no reason why half-black students would be “preferred” over those who are full black or white.</p>
<p>maybe if you were mixed urm, like black/hispanic/native american but other than that they probably count you as a URM regardless if your black or half black. i dont think it makes much of difference anyway</p>
