So do colleges actually participate in MUN rather than just host high school competitions?

Look it up on the colleges' websites.

There are certainly colleges which sponsor and run Model UN conferences for high school kids.

No, momof3sons, you misunderstood. I'm talking about being able to actually participate in MUN in college RATHER THAN just hosting. =/

Well since Model UN started as a college organization, I would assume so. I know Northwestern has a Model UN and Model Arab League.

Ya a lot of them do
there is like a Harvard MUN conference i think for college students

Yes, a lot of colleges host college conferences such as UVA, Princeton, Georgetown, etc.

The University of Chicago's Model UN Website:
Model United Nations of the University of Chicago (MUNUC)

Of course colleges would have it. Model UN is all about pretending to be part of an organization that pretends to mean something, and isn't that what academia is all about?

Yes, we have MUN here at Northwestern. I would think most colleges would, too.

Vanderbilt has a prevalent Model UN.
