I know a kid who was a genetic disorder who has good grades and looks to be going to a pretty good college. We all know most colleges like students who are a minority so would this kid with a genetic disorder I know be favored over normal students just like minorities are?

I can’t see this as a URM situation for college admissions. Might be able to use in his Common App essay about overcoming adversity, though.
