Do colleges look at A- , A , or A+ Differently?

i know senior grades are really important to do well.</p>

<p>i was just wondering if there is a huge difference between A and A+??</p>

<p>Also do colleges use high school grades to determine placement in a class or credit?
For example: like XXXX 101 or XXXX 201??</p>

<p>The University of California system of nine campuses does not consider + or -. I don’t think many colleges do… but I am not certain.</p>

<p>As to Placement, many colleges use AP exam results, while others have their own placement exams.</p>
