Do colleges look at API scores of your high school?

<p>The API of my highschool is around 885. I forgot. Will it increase your chances at acceptance?</p>

<p>No they don’t see your API scores, and they don’t care. API represents everything wrong with the educational system…</p>

<p>^Agreed. You can’t summarize everything about a school with a single number. </p>

<p>In college admissions, that kind of environment could hurt you at the top privates, because you’ve had plenty of opportunities that have come in your way in the environment that you are, so ADCOMs will expect more from you, to show that you’ve fully taken advantage of what your HS has to offer.</p>
