<p>If my kiddo were to attend a community/junior college for a year or two before transferring to a 4-year university, would the university look at her high school grades and SATs, or just her community college work? Thanks.</p>
<p>The 4 year college would look at both community college AND high school grades, but place more emphasis on the community college grades.</p>
<p>If your kiddo went to CC for only one year, the emphasis would still be on the high school record.</p>
<p>If your kiddo goes to Cc for 2 years, the emphasis then shifts to the college record (although some schools may still ask for SAT scores/transcripts)</p>
