Do colleges look at first quarter's grades ?

<p>For almost all of my friends at different schools, states, counties, etc. it’s semester grade.</p>

<p>But it varies at times how they calculate semester grades. Mine is 40% Q1 + 40% Q2 + 20% Semester Exam = Semester Grade</p>

<p>My school is cumulative first and second quarter, with a ten percent EOC, and that’s what shows up on my transcript. You just have to check with your school.</p>
