I want to go to schools like Stanford, Rice, and UC Berkeley, especially Stanford. Do you know if they look at weighted or unweighted? Also, for other schools besides the three, do they usually look at weighted too? Do colleges even glance at weighted GPAs?
Colleges of this caliber usually analyze transcripts and give their own ratings, regardless of how a school weights the final grade.
Colleges generally look at weighted but most will recalculate the weighted GPA based on their own rules.
UCB will look at your UW GPA, your UC capped weighted GPA and Fully weighted GPA (weighted GPA based on the UC scale).
Stanford will not count your freshman year and will recalculate your gpa using their own scheme.
