<p>How could your weighted GPA be lower than your unweighted GPA… that doesn’t make any sense?</p>

<p>it depends on the college and your school, but since gpa’s are all different, they usually put more weight on your class rank (or transcript and teacher recs if your class doesn’t rank) to try to get a sense of where you are compared to others.</p>
