I'm applying to CALS at Cornell and they told me they like students who exceed in Math and Sciences. I don't know if this is true about NYU, or any other college I am applying to, nor do I know how they factor in individual scores on the ACT rather than the composite alone.

This was my ACT breakdown:
English: 26
Reading: 25
Science: 27
Math: 34
Writing: 10
Combined English and Writing: 27
Composite score: 28

Of the 11 schools I am applying to, NYU and Cornell are probably my biggest reaches. How do you think they will view my ACT score and breakdown?
