I have really low grades in ar and music ( 88 and 75) and starting this year, my stupid high shcool is going to count gym in my average. Do colleges recalculate each applicant's GPA and take our those necessary classes such as gym and music?

Most do. Some don't.

The vast majority of them do. It's usually 4 core classes + foreign language.

Most of your higher ranked colleges recalculate GPA using only college prep courses -- math, English, language, social studies, lab science. (So they will not count those courses you did so-so in, but, of course, they are not going to count that A one may have gotten in Health either.) Even colleges that take GPA as is tend to eliminate gym. There are a number of colleges that rely mainly on class rank and not GPA.
