I have had a perfect transcript through junior year, but my grades are slipping during the first part of senior year. I know that I can bring them up by the time the midyear reports are sent, but will the college that I am applying to ED receive my grades from this cycle (which may not look very good)?

cycle grades r never sent, but ur schedule will be. be sure to have a rigorous and tough schedule senior year.

im in the same situation as jen. But it seems my guidance counseler wants to send the grades i already have even tho they suck(compared to the rest of my high school years). Can anyone clarify? Oh yea im applying ed to william and mary

No, the colleges will only see the grades from 9th-11th. Then, when the midterm grades come out, the HS sends the Midterm Year Report to the colleges.

You definately have time to raise your grades.

Dunja: your GC is not doing you a favor, probably just does not want to do the extra work of sending the mid-year report.

wow. Hmm, so i should tell my gc to not send them. I never liked my gc, and now i know she's screwing me over. Thx for the response
