I've asked a couple of people and no one is clear on that.

Are the scores visible in any way--like are your junior year AP test scores on your highschool transcripts--when you apply for admission?

It depends on your school.

At my high school, my APs were automatically attached to my transcript along with my SATs, etc. HOWEVER: If you’re applying with common app, then there’s a section that will ask you to list your AP scores. Those will be seen by the colleges you apply to. Most colleges will ask for AP or IB scores as a matter of course, whether they use common app or not, so regardless of whether or not its on your transcript, the colleges will see it.

Your best bet is to go to your guidance counselor and ask to see an unofficial copy of your transcript. That will show you exactly what the colleges see. If they won’t show you a copy, just ask them what they send. There should be no problem in them telling you that.

Hope that helped. :)

thanks. I’ll check on my transcript .

But my sister who is a senior and just went through applying to colleges says she never had to give her AP scores on the common app, (although most of hers were through something called “applyweb” or something like that, so maybe that is something different?
