Do colleges see half-year courses you take in 2nd semester on transcript if applying by Nov 1?

Planning to take a several half year courses: AP Macro and Micro, and minimum of 2 business courses (I'm majoring in business). I can't take everything in one semester, so I am debating which to take and when. Which ever I decide to take in the spring, will the colleges see it on my transcript? Meaning, will they see that I have not started the course but am enrolled in it? Thanks!

It’s based on the college. Some do, others do not. For example, the University of Florida has a Nov 1’st deadline for admissions. They use self-reported grades (9th-11th grade), and only look at your official transcripts (and your 12th year grades) after you’ve been admitted. In UF"s case, your 12th year grades would only be used to revoke admissions.

Check with the college to determine if they will review your first semester grades as part of admissions.

Good Luck!

The key here is whether or not the college requires official transcripts. I believe most of them do, and when they look at them, they will see the course you were scheduled to take alongside a blank spot for your grade in that class.
