Do colleges see one's senior year schedule?

I am planning on applying to my reach school during the late summer before my senior year. However, I am worried that them not seeing my course schedule for senior year could have a negative impact. Even if I apply during my senior year, it would be by the end of September, before any reports.

So, I have two questions: 1.) If I wait and apply during September of my senior year, will they still not see my senior year schedule on my transcript because I will not have had a report?

2.) Will applying before they can see my senior year schedule be a disadvantage?

Note bene: This is my far reach school, and I don't think I have a chance at all of getting in ED. I am hoping to be defered on ED and go from there, as my school has a lot of people who do the same and all (or almost all) then get in. I do, however, want to apply ED rather than wait with this school.

Most school applications ask for you to fill in what courses you are taking your senior year. In addition, my son's transcript (which was sent out in the fall for his EA school) listed his senior classes, although he did not have a grade reported yet.

Why would you apply late summer? Even if you did, I suppose that your transcript would be sent after you start back at school in the fall and show the classes in your schedule.

Most schools don't have Early Deadlines before November 1st. The councilor reports all ask for a list of senior classes too, so they will see what you are taking. It doesn't matter when you submit your application, as long as it is before the deadline. It will not give you any priority, unless you are applying to a school with rolling admissions.

I think they usually see...
why are you in such a hurry to apply? are you planning on completely slacking your senior year? they usually ask for midyear updates.

Well, maybe the OP is only looking at colleges with rolling admissions in which case, getting everything in by September 1 could mean decisions by mid November while everyone else is getting their stuff together and applying.

He mentioned ED, which means it's not a rolling school.
