Do colleges take into account changing high schools?

Hi, Im currently a senior in high school. I moved in the dead middle of my junior year from Virginia to California, once I got to California I realized that the school was much more advanced and challenging than I was used to. The new school also begun their school year earlier than ours and moved faster which meant I was extremely behind in all of my classes, even electives. Because of this my first semester grades junior year plummeted (Mostly B's and only one A with a tough workload) Second semester I was able to bring my grades back up to mostly A's but my junior year overall grades are still not as good as I would like them to be. Now, because of financial difficulties, my parents might take a new job in Texas, which would mean moving yet again in the middle of the school year. I'm not sure if my grades will go down again if we do move, but I'm going to try my best for them not to. I guess what my question is, is that do colleges take into account the amount of high schools you went to while looking at your application? Would they give me a slight break because I've moved so many times in the middle of the year? Because I know I can do much better in my classes, it was just the huge transition that held me back
