My g.p.a isn't outstanding. I have a 2.5 and thanks to my parents moving around a total of 12 times my whole life, I had a dislike for school. This is my 4th high school I've been in. My grades do not reflect my abilities. However, I recently got diagnosed with ADHD. As I reflect back, it makes perfect sense. I always had horrible organizational skills and priotizing homework. My senior semster grade is at the moment, a 4.0.
Will colleges look over my poor gpa and see the potential I have? I have numerous extracurriculars activities under my belt, and I even am president of 2 of them.

Yes…about taking kids with ADHD, not about overlooking your grades,

Of course a college will take you regardless of ADHD. They don’t look at what you’re diagnosed with. They look at your stats, EC’s, etc… It seems to me that what you’re really asking is will colleges take you with your poor stats. That really depends on what colleges you’re applying to.

If you really want to go to a good university, then attending a 2 year community college and transferring over would probably be the best possibility. I doubt they will excuse a 2.5 GPA for any reason :
