Do colleges use a SAT-ACT conversion table when evaluating scores

so if I got say a 30 would that be the same as a 1340 to an admissions officer?

They don’t sit there with a conversion table but admissions officers know roughly what the score translates to, and roughly what percentile it is. You will never be disadvantaged because you took the ACT and not the SAT, if that’s your question :D

Each school may have a different conversion chart as they may have emphasis on different section scores. You may use those conversion chart at collegeboard or ACT for your reference.
