Do colleges weight gpa by major?

<p>I am currently a biology major and am thinking of transfering, i believe i will hav roughly a 3.4gpa this semester, its this low mostly due to chemistry which is a hard class that i am also terrible at.</p>

<p>Will colleges understand that a 3.4 in a science major is harder to get than a 3.4 in some other majors? or will they look at them all equally?</p>

<p>I think they'll understand that your course load may be tougher than others. I wouldn't stress too much.</p>
