Do community classes taken concurrently taken during high school count for transfer GPA?

I am seriously considering community college at this moment but I am bothered by a class I took during my summer of my junior year in high school and ended up with a C. Does this grade come into consideration if I do choose to attend the same CC and transfer to a 4 year university, such as a UC? If it does, would the problem be remedied if I attended a different CC, so I don't have to send that transcript?

It doesn’t matter when you took a community college course. Even if you were still in HS at the time, it is still a course that will appear on that college’s transcript. You should look into whether or not it is possible to retake the course at the same college and get the older grade replaced by the (hopefully better) newer grade. This is a possibility in many colleges.

Be very careful about employing a strategy of hiding a college transcript from a transfer institution. You are supposed to submit ALL college transcripts when you apply. If you get caught, it may be over for you in attempting to attend that college.
