<p>Not sure, as an engineering major there is basically no possible way that the two areas conflict, but for north campus I can see them conflicting. I doubt it though, since that would pretty much defeat the purpose.</p>
<p>Classes can fill both major and GE requirements, if that’s what you’re asking. For example, physics majors don’t have to take Physical Science GE’s beyond Physics 1A and 1B.</p>
