Like is the final CR section more difficult than the first one? Oh and besides the blue book, what are the best books for CR practice?

I find the last reading passage more difficult to comprehend than the first, for obvious reasons. Im not so sure if the questions get more difficult, it could just be fatigue. I don't think there is a book for CR. Reading comprehension is a skill we've acquired gradually throughout our lives-so if you're a slow reader or somebody who just doesn't get the passages, there's really nothing you can do. There's probably a couple of tips out there that work, but ultimately it comes down to whether you get the passage or not.

Some people say deciphering the questions is more important, and their obviously confused. There are few questions that are worded equivocally, and if you take the time to read them carefull, there shouldnt be a problem. However if you can't understand the passages and get the characters mixed up, you might as well just omit all the questions.

Well I'm a good reader (A's in AP/H English) and I do read quite a bit for personal enjoyment, but I was just hoping that there'd be some other decent book to practice out of since I've read almost every passage in the blue book.

Barron's 2400 offers some CR strategies that you may or may not find helpful. The company also publishes a Critical Reading Workbook that is more basic than their 2400 book.

The SAT goes from easiest to hardest

Yeah not in terms of the sections though ^
Plus it also depends on the type of passage you're reading.
For me, long poetry or artsy related passages are not very appealing.
I took a QAS yesterday and I missed 1 out of all the 2-24 question sections and then the last reading passage was some dual passage about poetry and I barely finished within the time limit and missed 2 on just that passage.
So just hope you get lucky with the passages.

i guess the lastest passage seems the hardest coz you get tired when get into this sec maybe.

i also agree that there's no decent book for CR, its a comprehensive ability
