I have over 30 credits from dual enrollment at a local community college. IF these credits transfer, will they be factored into my GPA at UVa? Also, will they continue to show up on my college transcripts?

no
10 char

thanks, vistany

they will show up on your transcript, but won't affect your gpa. no grades will be listed, just what classes they transferred as and how many credits. ie check out http://curry.edschool.virginia.edu/files/transcript.pdf

awesome. thanks, hazelorb!

sorry wu. didn't read the question about transcripts. my bad.

I get confused about this idea of institutional versus non-institutional GPA. If you are applying for internships (or grad school) -- does dual-enrollment GPA affect anything?

grad school - via our forums here! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/graduate-school/617923-confused-about-gpa-calculations.html
internships - i'm sure they don't care what the other grades are as long as they're on par with your gpa
