Do EDers have a better, equal, or reduced chance at RD?

I know that at some schools, deferred ED applicants have a slightly different chance at being accepted. In some cases, the demonstrated interest helps; in others, it makes no difference or actually hurts.

Does anyone know about Brown’s take on this?

according to my interviewer, the RD admit rate is pretty much the same for deferred ED applicants

Brown has never released statistics on deferred ED students. I don’t even know if the data system is setup to track them independently of regular RD after they are deferred.
